FIRST LESSON: Isaiah 60:1-6

The glory of the Lord shines for all nations. It is revealed in Jesus, the Savior of the world.

PSALM OF THE DAY: Psalm 72 on page 93

This psalm shows us Jesus revealed as the King, the royal Savior worthy of the epiphany gifts offered to Him.

SECOND LESSON: Ephesians 3:2-12

Hard as it was for the Jews to understand or accept, the gospel is for all people, Jews and Gentiles alike. Like Paul, our task is to make this truth known.

GOSPEL: Matthew 2:1-12

The wise men visit the young Jesus, fulfilling the prophecies that Gentiles would come to Jesus and proclaim Him as Savior of the world.
