FIRST LESSON: 1 Samuel 3:1-10

God reveals Himself at an important turning point in Israel’s history and calls Samuel to the prophetic office.

PSALM OF THE DAY: Psalm 67 on page91

This prayer for God’s blessing continues the epiphany theme of the universal scope of salvation.

SECOND LESSON: 1 Corinthians 6:12-20

Paul warns Christians about perverting Christian liberty into sexual immorality. We use our bodies to show that we belong to Christ and to show that the Holy Spirit lives in us.

GOSPEL: John 1:43-51

As Jesus calls Philip and Nathanael to follow Him, He shows His divine knowledge of all things and promises His disciples that they will see even greater things. They respond by following His call and by sharing the good news with others.

Nominations Committee will have ballot ideas.

Please write two checks or two of whatever money or one check and one of whatever money. This will help treasurers get money where you intended it. Please put date and envelope number on both sides.
