THANKS to all who provided reports for the Annual Report. Thanks to all who helped with decorating church for the holiday season and then putting the decorations away this past Sunday. Thanks to Herman and Kathy for folding bulletins every week.

LENTEN WORSHIP SERVICES begin with our Ash Wednesday service on Weds Feb 14th. The theme for our series this year is “Jesus Christ is our Great High Priest.” We will be having Soup Suppers before the services.

WEST LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL Sunday is scheduled for Mar 11th. Choir from West Lutheran (Western Accents) plans to come.

LIMA stands for Lutheran Institutional Ministry Association. They support pastors and staff ministries visiting people in hospitals, ministry to college students and ministry to people incarcerated in county and state jails and penitentiaries.

WHAT DO OUR MISSION DOLLARS DO? They support the training of future pastors and teachers. For several years we had more pastors and teachers compared to the number of openings. There has been a huge change and now there are shortages. WELS supports a number of missionaries serving overseas and some coordinators who live in the US and visit/teach from time to time. About 10 new Home Missions (in the U.S. were opened in the past year.
