Lord, I am not worthy to be a guest at your holy table. But you are the friend of sinners, and you will not cast me out. This bread is your body, which bore my sins upon the tree. CONFESSION OF SINS
M: Beloved in the Lord: let us draw near with a true heart and confess our sins to God our Father, asking him in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to grant us forgiveness.
C: Holy and merciful Father, I confess that I am by nature sinful and that I have disobeyed you in my thoughts, words, and
actions. I have done what is evil and failed to do what is good.

5 When Jesus looked up and saw a great crowd coming toward him, he said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread for these people to eat?” 6 He asked this only to test him, for he already had in mind what he was going to do. 7 Philip answered him, “It would take more than half a year’s wages to buy enough bread for each one to have a bite!” 8 Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, 9 “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” 10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. AREA REFORMATION SERVICE: There will be an area Reformation Service on Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9200 Elm Creek Blvd., Maple Grove, with full instruments including pipe organ, brass and choral voices joined by handbells. The service will be followed by a full meal including lots of fellowship.
HOST FAMILIES NEEDED FOR WEST BAND FEST: West Lutheran High School will be hosting a band fest this March 2026 and is looking for host families to house as many as 70 students in groups of two or more for the weekend. Most students will arrive the evening of March 19 and depart March 22. Host families will provide transportation to and from West each day of Band Fest and will join host families for worship on Sunday morning before returning to West for final rehearsals.
