Sing, Sing, Sing to the Lord…….

At Immanuel we do just that. Lutherans have long been known to enjoy singing praises to the Lord. We sing numerous songs during each worship service. If you enjoy singing in a more structured manner, you should consider joining Immanuel’s adult choir. Immanuel’s adult choir is open to all members of the church that have been confirmed.  There are no try-outs and being able to read music is not required.  However, having fun and singing praises to God with your fellow believers is!

Singing in the choir is not a full time job. The mixed choir (men and women) typically sing on holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Easter.  Extra songs are sometimes sung by the women’s choir during Advent and Lent. Practices for services start approximately 6 – 8 weeks prior to the service and meet on Fridays for an hour from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  Practice day/time may change according to majority vote of the group.
